Job Summary

To lead the Meter Manufacturing Plant with complete management of production, quality & supply chain. To acquire and sustain business and thus effectively manage the portfolio as a profit generation unit for the organization.

Job Responsibilities of General Manager (Meter Manufacturing Plant) at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC)

• Overall plant management
• Manage Supply chain aspects as the location in-charge of meter plant stores, being responsible for inventory control
• Planning & management of production targets
• Labor management
• Business development (SSGC and SNGPL meters)
• Planning & forecasting
• Preparing budgets & gaining approval from the management
• Adherence to the quality management system
• Logistics arrangement
• To stay abreast with international quality standards & seek to achieve the same.
• Process & product improvement
• New products development
• Technology transfers with the help of OEMs
• Vendor development
• Upgrade existing equipment & machines
• General factory administration
• Financial Management
• Good inter department relations.
• To ensure succession planning by identifying, developing and maintaining pool of successors for key positions within the division / department.
• Foster and encourage continuous learning and development culture and encourage continuous education at all levels within the division / department.

Qualification:

• Engineering Graduate preferably in Mechanical or Industrial with at least 14 years of relevant experience.
