Services of Lecturer/Demonstrator are required at Indus College of Medical Technology & Allied Health department of TIH Main Campus, Korangi Karachi.We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our academic as a Lecturer/Demonstrator in Respiratory Therapy & Critical Care. As a Demonstrator/lecturer, you will be responsible for providing expert instruction and guidance to students pursuing a career in respiratory therapy and critical care.
The job responsibilities of Lecturer/Demonstrator at TIH Main Campus, Korangi Karachi are:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, presentations, and practical demonstrations that effectively communicate complex concepts in respiratory therapy and critical care.
- Create and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with industry standards and promotes student learning and development.
- Conduct assessments, provide feedback, and evaluate student performance to ensure their understanding of the subject matter.
- Offer support and guidance to students, including academic advising, mentoring, and career counseling.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in respiratory therapy and critical care through continuous professional development, attending conferences, and participating in research activities.
- Collaborate with the education and administrative team to improve the quality of the program and enhance the learning environment.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other relevant activities to contribute to the overall development and functioning of the institution.
Additional requirement:
- Prior experience in teaching respiratory therapy and critical care courses at an undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, critical care procedures, and relevant healthcare technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey complex information to students.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and instructional materials.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
- Possession of relevant certifications and licensure is desirable.
- Capacity for independent research and publication is an advantageous.
Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Critical Care, or a related field is required.
Experience:
• 02-03 years experience in clinical practice and teaching within the field of Respiratory Therapy & Critical Care
