National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Karachi campus has announced job vacancy for Business Development Manager- PDC.
The Job Responsibilities of Business Development Manager- PDC at Professional Development Center (PDC), National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Karachi are:
- Assist GM PDC in PDC strategic policy matters and other important assignments.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase the market share of PDC trainings and supervise the marketing team.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of the latest trends and contribute to improving the quality of PDC trainings.
- Develop partnerships with potential organizations for training opportunities and develop a strategy for leveraging training events for creating industrial linkage.
- Develop valuable content for the effective presence of PDC on social media and other promotional platforms.
- Assist GM in identifying and engaging experienced training instructors from NUST and outside organizations for conducting high-quality trainings.
- Preparing training proposals and handling training requests from different organizations.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
- Assisting GM PDC in developing and updating the PDC Training calendar, MOUs, and PDC performance reports for different trainings.
- Preparing individual training reports and overall performance summary report on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Handling operational matters of PDC including designing and implementation of the SOPs, TNAs and operational plans, etc. of PDC to optimize PDC operations and make them robust.
- Connect industry/recruiting partners with the NPO team for the hiring of NUST graduates by sharing job/internship positions.
- To liaison with industry stakeholders and assess market needs for projects, consultancies and trainings via ICON β Karachi
- Visiting the industry, understanding their processes, and identifying the gaps hindering their growth
- To suggest and persuade the industry for NUSTβs assistance in solving their issues through consultancies, trainings, industrial R&D projects, etc.
- To make feedback and request forms (general and specific ones for each department) so that it can be used to narrow down the problems as well as suggest a suitable solution
- To keep a check on the database of industrial inputs, requests, analysis, relations, services, events, etc.
- To network with the industry through participating in all industry-related events
Terms & Conditions of Business Development Manager- PDC at NUST Karachi:-
* Candidates must attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional) along with their CVs.
* The last Education Certificate/Degree should be verified/attested by HEC.
* Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons: -
- 3rd Div in academic career.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and absence of NOC from the Head of Institution.
- Medically Unfit.
- In the process of pursuing a degree.
* Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed Forces, etc. may apply through their respective parent departments/organizations.
* Late/incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered/called for an interview/test and no TA/DA will be admissible.
* Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letters.
* NUST reserves the right to cancel, modify/terminate the recruitment program due to any reason, without notice, at any time.
Qualification:
Essential
β’ Minimum Bachelors degree in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university with 03 years of relevant experience.
Desirable
β’ MBA (Marketing) from an HEC-recognized university with 07 years of experience in a reputable organization.
