National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad campus has announced job vacancy for DD/ Manager Internal Audit at NUST main campus, Islamabad.Job Responsibilities of DD/ Manager Internal Audit at NUST, Islamabad Campus are:
- Conduct day-to-day operations of the department in line with best practices, and procedures and in compliance with NUST policies.
- Prepare and implement audit work plans.
- Ensure internal audit compliance in accordance to best practices including but not limited to Internal Audit standards.
- Aid in management decision-making by furnishing weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
- Ensure due diligence in technical and routine work.
- Ensure accurate PPRA implementation wherever applicable.
- Inter and intra-departmental liaison for compliance as per policy and requirements.
- Provision of data if and when required along with summary and reports for management, Govt entities/funding agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Review of Tax compliance.
- Assist external audit teams whenever required.
- To assist management in risk assessment, and internal control development by identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements thereto.
Terms & Conditions:-
* Candidates must attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional) along with their CVs.
* The last Education Certificate/Degree should be verified/attested by HEC.
* Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons: -
- 3rd Div in academic career.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and absence of NOC from the Head of Institution.
- Medically Unfit.
- In the process of pursuing a degree.
* Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed Forces, etc. may apply through their respective parent departments/organizations.
* Late/incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered/called for an interview/test and no TA/DA will be admissible.
* Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letters.
* NUST reserves the right to cancel, modify/terminate the recruitment program due to any reason, without notice, at any time.
Qualification:
Essential
• Completed article ship with a reputable CA firm with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Desirable
• CA, ACCA, CIA, CA Finalist. Experience in a leading firm or with Government Funded Projects / Organizations would be considered an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of Audit Standards.
- Proficient knowledge of financial management and accounting practices, relevant legislation, and financial policies and procedures (e.g.: IIA, IFRS, etc).
- Understanding of applicable Tax laws.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in applicable PPRA rules.
- On-hand experience of ERP system such as Odoo (ERP).
- Good communication, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- General IT skills: Use of ERP systems (emphasis on financial modules/audit module), use of Microsoft Office, email, and Internet-based research.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Commitment to the Code of Ethics.
Trainings/ Certifications:
-Microsoft Office especially Excel skills
-Communication skills
-Report writing
