Description:

The Meezan Bank announced job vacancy for the post of Compliance Analyst at Head Office of Meezan Bank in Karachi.

Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic Commercial Bank, operating with a network of more than 990 branches in over 320 cities across the country, is looking to hire for a Compliance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities of Compliance Analyst at Meezan Bank:
• Performing customers screening through an automated screening system
• Performing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and verifying customer information
• Identifying, verifying, and conducting due diligence of beneficial owners
• Coordinating with branches to obtain necessary documents for customer identification
• Conducting research through Internet and reliable public databases
• Reviewing of Know Your Customer (KYC) information of customers and ensuring its correctness and accuracy

Bank branch Locations where the candidate for the post of Compliance Analyst will be appointed:
• Head of Karachi

• *Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s preferably Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Actuarial Science, or Commerce from an HEC recognized institute/university
• Qualification in Islamic Finance will be preferred

Experience:
• Fresh to two years of relevant working experience

Skills Required:
• Good written, oral communication and comprehension skills
• Good analytical and research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, report writing and drafting skills
• Able to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
• Staying updated on current affairs, international and local news and media
