National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced job vacancy of `Assistant Director (Linux Stack Administrator)` at Islamabad.

NADRA is seeking dynamic and experienced professional for following position:

• Position: Assistant Director (Linux Stack Administrator)
• Location: Islamabad

Qualification:

• B.S COMPUTER SCIENCE
• BS (Information Security)

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 Years Experience in related field

Other Requirements

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix servers and associated software.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to enhance system stability.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts promptly to ensure optimal uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard systems against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and apply best practices for system hardening.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data. Must have experience of NetBackup/networker backup software
• Test and verify backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Create and update documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles for common problem resolution.
• Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, AIX) and command-line operations.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
