Description:

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced job vacancy of `Deputy Director Data Security` at Islamabad.

NADRA is seeking dynamic and experienced professional for following position:

• Position: Deputy Director Data Security
• Location: Islamabad

Following are the key responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and direction to the DB Security team, ensuring efficient and effective operation of Database security monitoring and incident response activities.
• Oversee the development and execution of incident response plans, coordinating with relevant stake-holders to mitigate DB security incidents promptly.
• To validate the Incidents reported by Guardium Appliance alert policy.
• Monitoring all databases and their activities, Guardium health investigation dashboards.
• Expertise and knowledge in hunting, as well as automated reporting on daily and weekly incidents. Taking up with data owners on those incidents. • High-level understanding of IBM Security Guardium.

Experience and knowledge related to the configuration and maintenance of IBM Security Guardium (DAM)
• Act as mentor & conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the team.
• Work on planning, design, implementation of Database Auditing and Monitoring, Guardium Appliance Sizing and Architecture, User Management, Policy, Alert and Report Definition and Management, Guardium Life Cycle Management.
• Troubleshooting and providing resolution of incidents, work with IBM on critical SLA’s.

Qualification:

• Bachelors Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification
• Masters Computer Science or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in reputable organization, international standard qualification is highly desirable.
• At least 5 years of applied experience of IBM-Guardium Data Security Policies / controls, Deployment, Data Security Events Analysis.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in working security operation center as data security analyst.
• Hands on experience of incidence response plan.

• 45 Years

• This job offered by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is a Contractual position. Most of the jobs on contractual positions are renewed depending the need and performance of the employee.
