Description:

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced job vacancy of `Consultant (Data Security & Governance, Risk Management and Compliance)` at Islamabad.

NADRA is seeking dynamic and experienced professional for following position:

• Position: Consultant (Data Security & Governance, Risk Management and Compliance)
• Location: Islamabad

Following are the key responsibilities:
• Develop, review, and update data protection policies and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations. Implement and enforce data protection policies across all departments and functions within NADRA.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of data protection measures and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in NADRA’s data protection practices. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.
• Establish and maintain an incident response plan to address data breaches and other security incidents. Lead investigations into data security incidents, assess the impact, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and direction to the DB Security team, ensuring efficient and effective operation of Database security monitoring and incident response activities.
• High-level understanding of IBM Security Guardium. Experience and knowledge related to the configuration and maintenance of IBM Security Guardium (DAM)

Qualification:

• Bachelors in Information Security / Information Systems or equivalent.

Preferred Qualification
• Masters in Information Security / Information Systems or equivalent.

Experience
• At least 7 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity operations.

Employment Type:

This job offered by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is a Contractual position. Most of the jobs on contractual positions are renewed depending the need and performance of the employee.
