The Production team requires a Junior Stock Clerk to work as part of our supply chain team and assist with various tasks. This is a role requiring someone who is extremely motivated, organized and can cope well under pressure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory duties that include stocking of shelves, organization of products, kitting, material handling, inspections, inventory reconciliations, serial number tracking, packing, etc. and provide service excellence to internal and external customers.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Kit, prepare, issue and receive materials for production
• Load and unload materials deliveries and shipments
• Unpack and store incoming materials in an organized manner
• Assist managing inventory, counts and reconciliation
• Adhere to serial number tracking processes and procedures
• Maintain production and warehouse areas clean and organized at all times
• Assist with packing and bracing in shipping area as necessary
• Perform drilling, cutting and other light mechanical hands-on duties to meet production demand
• Maintain and operate forklift, crane and mechanical shop equipment

Qualification:

• Grade 12 supplemented by APICs courses or at least two-years recent related experience
• Physically fit and the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required
• Attention to detail, care and high level of quality is required
• Works well with minimal or no supervision, self motivated
• Experience using fixed and hand shop tools
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable using computers and windows applications
• ERP, warehouse and inventory management experience and training is an asset
• Experience with best packing and material handling practices is an asset
• QHSE certifications and keen on safety protocols is an asset
• WHMIS, Forklift and Crane training are an asset
• Able to read and understand basic engineering drawings and use measuring devices for inspection purposes is an asset
• Accurate data entry and record keeping in windows-based software is essential
• Ability to maintain a high level of performance in a dynamic environment
