United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced job vacancy of Project Head - Human Resource Management Systems at Karachi.
The job responsibilities of Project Head - Human Resource Management Systems at United Bank Limited (UBL) are:
The resource would be responsible for spearheading the end-to-end design, execution, implementation and deployment of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) project.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of HRMS, overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within specified timelines and budget.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Digital, and third-party vendor including but not limited to system principal to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication among stakeholders and specially to senior leadership, providing regular updates, progress reports, and addressing concerns to ensure transparency and understanding.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure the implementation meets industry best practices, standards, and regulatory compliance, conducting quality checks and evaluations as needed.
• Coordinate training sessions and provide necessary support to end-users for seamless adoption and utilization of the HRMS platform.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and post-implementation reviews for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Ensure system usability, accessibility and journey monitoring (drop off, error rates, sign ups, success) of the HRMS eco system.
• Become the eventual custodian (Portfolio Manager) of HRMS post deployment.
Qualification:
• Bachelors in HRM/Project Management/Computer Science required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications i.e. PMP, SHRM, CIPD will be advantageous.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in project management; Preferably two successful HRMS implementations, with a solid understanding of financial institution operations and regulations.
• Proven experience in successfully leading and managing end-to-end projects, ideally in HRMS implementation or related IT projects within the financial sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with diverse teams, manage expectations, and build productive relationships across different departments.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse problems, think critically, and develop innovative solutions while maintaining a focus on project objectives and deadlines.
• Familiarity with HR best practices and industry standards, enabling the incorporation of HR-specific requirements into the implementation process.
• Understanding of HRMS systems, software development lifecycle, and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adapting quickly to changes and effectively managing priorities.
