United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced job vacancy of Head of Information Security Governance at Karachi.

The job responsibilities of Head of Information Security Governance at United Bank Limited (UBL) are:
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (domestic and international) and relevant industry standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor for the organization in application Security and Security GRC domains.
• Ensure successful execution of organization's information security strategy and action plan.
• Assist CISO in providing regular reports to senior management and the board of directors on the state of information security, including key metrics and emerging threats.
• Lead the collaboration with key stakeholders for day-to-day tasks.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other relevant field from any HEC-recognized University
• 10 - 12 years of proven experience in information security management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
• Dependable resource with demonstrated business acumen and a strong commitment to maintaining high self-governance standards.
• Solid understanding of the information security core principles.
• Proven track of handling Security Governance, Risk, Regulatory Compliance, international standards, and Application Security.
• Good presentation and documentation skills.
