State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank, is looking for talented and energetic candidates for the following OG-3 position in Agriculture Credit & Financial Inclusion Department (ACFID), based in Karachi.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Prepare operations manuals and agreements for credit line facilities in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop data templates for periodic regulatory reporting and maintain data repository for monitoring of participating financial institutions (PFIs).
• Carry out research on market appetite, pricing, and spreads for timely disbursement to PFIs to achieve the objectives of the programs
• Conduct due diligence of PFIs, evaluate proposals, and issue credit limits.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of PFIs against result matrix agreed in multilateral funded programs
• Prepare working papers, agendas, minutes and ancillary document for relevant Committees.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including donor/ lender agencies and ministries
• Design survey/ data tools, administer surveys, and write reports on utilization of credit lines under multilateral arrangements
• Develop business requirement documents (BRD) for automation of workflow and efficiency
• Prepare work plans, cash plans, forecasts, utilization and appropriation reports.
• Build strong professional rapport with stakeholders for reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with Project Director office, Government entities and entertain ad-hoc queries.
• Prepare Interim Unaudited Financial Reports (IUFR); reconcile cashbooks, variance, and account statements for audit and financial oversight of external and internal stakeholders
• Review and guide on Environment and Social Risks performance as per regulatory and multilateral requirements
• Assist higher management in engagements with multilateral mission teams.
• Coordinate in periodic financial oversight and audit of the multilateral programs
• Use statistical packages for tracking utilization of funds allocated to PFIs and Map project activities in MS Project to track progress
• Maintain record of correspondence, database of project activities, and ensure availability for management when requested.
• Perform any other task assigned by seniors.

Compensation:
• Competitive compensation package, as per State Bank rules.

Qualification:

Education:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in economics, finance or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized or reputable foreign institution.

Age:
• Maximum 35 years, as on last date of advertisement.

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of total experience (post qualification) with at least 3 years in a related field, preferably in multilateral funded projects or reputed international organizations.
