Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has announced job vacancy of Engineer Telecom & SCADA at Karachi.

The job responsibilities of Engineer Telecom & SCADA at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) are:
• Plan, design, commission, and monitor complex telecommunication equipment and facilities and associated broadcasting equipment such as complex electronic switching systems, copper telephone facilities, video conferencing links, and fiber optics.
• Perform day-to-day Telecom operations, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
• Coordinate and plan routine maintenance activities for Telecom systems and ensure timely fault resolution and upgrades in collaboration with the team.
• Provide preliminary detailed telecommunications scope, estimates and specifications for senior management as required.
• Assesses the telecommunications aspects of tenders against prescribed standards as required in support of management.
• Undertakes preliminary technical investigations for telecommunications network commissioning issues as required.
• Ensures that the telecommunications network records are updated following completion of a project.
• Ensures formal handover procedure for telecommunications equipment in conjunction with the Assets and Operations.
• Comply with the risk management framework.
• Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
• Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded, and managed in a timely manner.
• Receive appropriate training in risk management.
• Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
