Description:

Health Department has announced job vacancy of Health Department Gilgit Job 2024 at Gilgit.

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for appointment as Project Director under the below mentioned approved PSDP project of Health Department Gilgit-Baltistan against standard pay package. Under the scope of the Project Directors the requisite responsibilities/ services include:

TERMS OF REFERENCE OF THE PROJECT DIRECTOR:
• Responsible for execution / implementation of the project as per approved scope, cost and time.
• Ensure compliance of GFRs, Procurement Rules, Contract Management Rules and prevailing laws.
• Exercise a strong check on time and cost overruns by monitoring the inputs, processes, and outputs of the project.
• Ensure that proper procedures for reviewing and responding to progress reports are established and follow that indicate how, what, and when to monitor and evaluate.
• Identify risks based on ground realities and formulate a risk mitigation plan.
• Prepare and submit reports in the prescribed manner and format including recommended actions for the decision-making.
• Work effectively and harmoniously with the project stakeholders (including external partners) as well as with the project staff.
• Develop and use indicators to focus on results and progress of implementation.
• Establish and maintain custody of all project documents and prepare and submit project status and completion reports (PC III/IV).
• Ensure timely provision of information on the PW-002 and PW-003 proformas to the Projects Wing.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
The educational qualification of the Project Director will be broad-based, that is, degree in Project Management, B.Sc. Engineering or MBA /MPA, MBBS/MPH, Master or BS (4 years) degree in economics or other relevant field from HEC recognized institutions, depending upon the nature of the project.

• Minimum five years' experience in project management or Minimum five years' implementation, with sound knowledge of project management fundamentals, particularly the government of Pakistan's project planning and management processes and procedures.
• Maximum age of 63 years on the date of appointment.
• Excellent skill of computer, project management tool/ application and M&E Systems

Government employees / retired offices will require NOC from Government of GB.
