Description:

Total Parco Pakistan Ltd has announced job vacancy of Direct Tax Lead.

The job responsibilities of Direct Tax Lead at Total Parco Pakistan Ltd are:
Actions / activities expected results and resources used.
•        Timely filing of Annual Income Tax Return with necessary data extraction / workings, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
•        Managing weekly income tax withholding payments and ensuring tax deductions are in accordance with applicable laws.
•        Timely filing Quarterly / Annual Withholding tax statements.
•        Working of quarterly advance income tax liability – projections & comparisons
•        Compliance of Income Tax notices initiated by Tax Authorities by ensuring timely & accurate data retrieval with supporting documents.
•        Liaison with company tax advisors & legal counsel for assisting / provision of necessary documents for defending company’s case before all appellate forums.
•        Retrieval / compilation of necessary data / documents as per legislative requirements for processing of income tax refunds.
•        Assisting in month end closing activity, tax GL clearings and balance transfer entries.
•        Current Tax & Deferred tax working for month end closing activity and posting of same in SAP.
•        Monthly tax computations, calculation of tax liability to be charged to business units.
•        Liaison with internal departments for application of accurate withholding taxes through invoices / payments.
•        Opinion to business units regarding applicable taxes for various projects as and when required.
•        Monthly management reporting regarding status of ongoing tax litigations / projects / developments.
•        Explore & implement opportunities for improvement in existing tax procedures.
•        Identify & mitigate possible tax exposure within company processes.
•        Monitoring legislative & regulatory applicable tax laws, track changes and application of same.
•        Any ad hoc task as assigned by line manager.

Qualification:

• Certification / CIMA / CMA / CMA / Master of Business Administration (Finance)

Experience:
• 3 - 8 years

Age Limit:
• 25 - 40 years
