Description:

Community Health Directorate (CHD) has announced job vacancy of Senior Biomedical Engineer (PMU - Karachi Based) at Biomedical department.

The job responsibilities of Senior Biomedical Engineer (PMU - Karachi Based) at Community Health Directorate (CHD) are:
• Adhere Departmental Policies and procedure
• Promptly respond to equipment BDM work request as per the policy and department standard so that equipment can be utilized to its optimum.
• Timely complete PPM as per the policy and department standard to optimize its performance and utilization.
• Pre-Purchase Technical Appraisal whenever requested as per the policy so that the equipment recommended is technically meeting the requirement, is cost effective in maintenance and that the backup support wherever possible is adequately available with vendor.
• Technical Inspection of Medical Equipment/Spares/Consumable as per the policy to ensure that it is as per the requirement.
• Monitor vendor during post warranty period as per the contract agreement and report the performance periodicall to Deputy Manager.
• Provide spares/consumables requirement to Deputy Manager Bio-Medical as and when needed for smooth functioning and optimum utilization of equipment and for maintaining department standard
• Any other task as instructed by direct supervisor or decided by management

• B.S Biomedical

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience
