The job responsibilities of Lift Engineer at The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi are:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on elevators and escalators according to established schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Conduct tests and adjustments to ensure proper functioning of elevator systems, including motor controls, safety features, and operational mechanisms.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement, to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventory.
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the installation teams to provide technical expertise and support during new equipment installations and upgrades.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment and following safe work practices at all times.
Qualification:
• BTech (Hons) or BE Mechanical
Experience:
• At least 5 year of prior work experience required
