Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases has announced job vacancy of Consultant (Part - time) at Cardiology department.
The job responsibilities of Consultant (Part - time) at Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases are:
Perform comprehensive cardiovascular examinations on all patients, including in-depth assessments for both initial and follow-up visits. Evaluate each patient’s cardiovascular condition and prescribe appropriate medications, conservative treatment, or referrals for specialized procedures/surgeries, such as angioplasty, stent placement, or bypass surgery, as indicated. Review and interpret patients' cardiovascular medical history, updating and documenting relevant information continuously. Conduct assessments and diagnostic tests (e.g., ECG, echocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms) to determine the cause of cardiovascular symptoms. Interpret all cardiovascular-related laboratory and imaging data. Review and sign off on abnormal test results, ordering additional tests or specialist referrals as needed. Facilitate related services for cardiovascular patients as appropriate, ensuring confidentiality and privacy. Conduct a detailed assessment and examination for transplant patients, encompassing pre-transplant, post-transplant and peri-transplant stages. Pre-operative fitness assessment for all nephrology and urology related surgical procedures. Evaluate and provide expert opinion on all cardiology-related calls generated by various departments at MIKD. Supervise the education and training of residents as required. Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisor or Head of the Faculty/MD.
Qualification:
• Post Graduate Degree (FCPS/PhD) in Speciality Subject
Experience:
• One year post Fellowship Experience in Speciality Subject
