Malaria Project has announced job vacancy of Data Entry Operator - Islamabad at Monitoring and Evaluation department.
The job responsibilities of Data Entry Operator - Islamabad at Malaria Project are:
The data entry operator/assistant will be responsible for data management including data entry. Under the technical guidance of Senior Manager Program & Communication, responsibilities include (but not limited to):• Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry & transcribe source data into the required electronic format.
• Transfer information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, etc.
• Check source documents for accuracy before entry in the MIS and verify integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
• Review data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies. Obtain further information for incomplete documents and engage relevant officers.
• Verify data and correct data where necessary following recommended data correction guidelines
• Maintain a filing system and protect confidential information.
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
• Respond to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system as and when required.
• Use basic office equipment (photocopy machine, facsimile machine, etc.)
• Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity.
• Assist program officer in review of program expenses
• Completes additional assigned tasks as required.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Qualification:
• Bachelors
Experience:
• Experience in the use of computer and any database software 2. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in data entries on projects-based documentation reporting 3. Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
