Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has announced job vacancy of Senior Engineer (Gas Quality) at Karachi.

The job responsibilities of Senior Engineer (Gas Quality) at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) are:
• Manage the installation, operations, and maintenance of gas quality measurement equipment’s for the determination of energy and to ascertain the quality parameters of gas.
• Carry out inspection and preventive maintenance activities of Gas Quality Measurement equipment’s to ensure the smooth operation.
• To ensure that issues including breakdown maintenance with respect to Gas Quality measurement equipment’s are adequately addressed.
• Continuously monitor and undertake analysis of the gas quality received from gas producers and undertake relevant tests to verify the same.
• Implement quality standards and quality control systems relating to gas quality measurement.
• Check and maintain that all equipment’s are correctly calibrated for accurate measurement of the transmission gas.
• Evaluation of gas analysis results and identification of anomalies along with suggested corrective actions.
• Undertake the interval-based spot sampling and analysis of gas samples from various SMS locations to ensure the accurate energy-based billing.
• Inspect and indicate errors during Joint Meter Check (JMC) and troubleshoot gas quality transmission issues.
• To coordinate with Planning & Procurement to plan and procure the necessary spares and equipment’s for the smooth gas quality measurement operations.
• Monitor the verification and inspection process for procured spares and equipment.
• Perform any other task as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
