  Masters(Physiology)/MBBS/BS (Physiology)/Pharm D

• Experience:

  Minimum 01 year of relevant experience with BS (Physiology)/Pharm D OR atleast 06 months of relevant experience with Masters (Physiology)/MBBS

Job Description / Notes:

• Guide medical and paramedical staff, provide oversight of the medical record standards, and coding system; act as a primary point of contact for coding questions.
• Code inpatient/outpatient and daycare discharges using coding classifications and IHHN guidelines.
• Assist in clinical audits to ensure compliance with coding guideline and regulations, and implement policies to enhance accuracy, rectifies anomalies and productivity.
• Prepare standard report from coded/abstract data as assigned and update coded charts daily.
• Prepare updates on inpatient & daycare discharges, outpatients and by specialty-wise if and when needed.
• Ensure the completion of coding on-time and trace backlog with strict completion timelines.
• Process and release medical reports according to hospital protocols if and when needed to follow due approvals.
• To issue death certificates in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• To update and verify patient demographic information as requested.
• To ensure confidentiality and security of all patient records, both electronic and physical.
• Work with other teams if needed, such as clinical operations, to resolve discrepancies and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
