United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced job vacancy of Assistant Manager ¿ CPU (Inward Remittance) at Karachi.

The job responsibilities of Assistant Manager ¿ CPU (Inward Remittance) at United Bank Limited (UBL) are:
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure timely and accurate processing of remittance requests and Authorized remittance transactions in Symbol System as per define procedure in SOP and agreed service TAT. Ensure to provide quality service to internal and external customers all the time without compromising operational risk and control.
• Authorized day-to day remittance transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of remittance requests.
• Familiarization with, SOP, SBP Guidelines & Prudential regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and legal requirements in remittance operations.
• Address customer inquiries and issues related to remittance transactions.
• Supervise cross-border remittance transactions and coordinate international tie-ups.
• Maintain accurate records of remittance transactions and generate reports for management.
• Initiating e-mail to branches for obtaining prerequisites and corresponding with branches for solution of their queries,
• Compute data for payment screening unit for compliance with bank's screening policy,
• Computations for Withholding Tax, Prepare WHT Data for Deduction through FPP portal and Create WHT Tax Computations and Payment Challan for Finance Division (Taxation).
• Handle SWIFT Queries and Draft SWIFT Messages/Response, Handling Amendments, Corresponding, Issue Null & Void and Debit Authority.
• Prepare DFS reporting for Inward Remittance Section.
• Validate ITRS reporting for Inward Remittance Section.
• On a day end all the pending MT103 are reconciled against OAS Report (Loaded Messages) to ensure no message is misplaced.
• Perform tasks assigned by Manager.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from HEC recognized university, preference will be given to Masters 4 to 5 years' relevant experience in centralized operations inward remittance
