The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi has announced job vacancy of Technologist - Microbiology at Clinical Laboratories department.

The job responsibilities of Technologist - Microbiology at The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi are:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:.• Perform microbiological tests and identify microorganisms.
• Conduct antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST).
• Operate and maintain microbiology lab equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of infectious materials.
• Follow CAP, ISO, and hospital infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality control programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and support lab accreditation activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques.
• Familiarity with CAP, ISO, and quality control guidelines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification:

• BS MLT, Preferred Masters in Science or a related field.

Experience:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
