Community Health Directorate (CHD) has announced job vacancy of X-ray Technician (Sehwan Based) at Family Medicine & Community Health department.The job responsibilities of X-ray Technician (Sehwan Based) at Community Health Directorate (CHD) are:
• Conduct X-ray examinations as per physician instructions.
• Liaise with the site supervisor and on-site field team to ensure a smooth workflow and maximize patient care throughout the process.
• Ensure proper handling and use of x-ray and other related equipment’s, and related software.
• Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the equipment's technical capabilities and limitations.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, local regulations, and best practices in radiologic safety.
• Conduct daily checks of fixed X-ray equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly and collaborate with the biomedical engineering team for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, including patient information, images taken, and radiation exposure details.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and comfort during imaging procedures

Qualification:
• Matric or above with X-ray technician Diploma
Experience:
• 02 years of related expereince
