A: The Job Responsibilities of Senior Officer QMD at The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus, Karachi are:
Quality Assurance & Compliance:Implement and maintain quality assurance programs for clinical laboratories.Ensure compliance with national and international laboratory standards (e.g., ISO 15189, CAP, JCIA).Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for outreach laboratories.Monitor adherence to internal quality control and external quality assessment programs.Audits & Inspections:Conduct regular internal audits of outreach laboratories to assess compliance with quality standards.Identify gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Assist in preparing laboratories for external audits and accreditation assessments.Process Improvement & Training:Identify process inefficiencies and implement quality improvement initiatives.Train laboratory personnel on quality standards, SOPs, and best practices.Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs.Data Management & Reporting:Collect and analyze quality indicators and laboratory performance data.Prepare reports on non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.Present findings to the Quality Management Team and relevant stakeholders.Other Requirements:Willingness to travel across multiple outreach laboratory locations.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.This position is critical to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring patient safety in outreach clinical laboratories. A: The Job Responsibilities of Midwife/LHV - (Sonda Sindh Based) at Community Health Directorate (CHD) are:
Give the necessary supervision, care, and advice to women during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum periodConduct deliveries independently at the facility and community levelManage complications in pregnancy and childbirth, in accordance with the principles of basic emergency obstetric careProvide primary care to women of reproductive ageProvide essential newborn care, well-baby clinic and well-baby visits at home, neonatal resuscitation where needed, and other interventions that she is trained on including circumcision, IMCI, and vaccinationsCounsel and educate women, the family, and the community, in relevant areas of health including preparation for parenthood and childbirthProvide all non‐surgical methods of family planning and counseling for surgical methodsObtain specialized assistance as necessary (consultation or referral). Assist women till referral point and follow up on all referrals provided.Share knowledge, skill, and expertise with midwifery, medical and nursing students, and nursing and resident staff, in the management of pregnancy and childbirth.Perform administrative duties such as patient charting, recording, and reporting of data; clinic and/or facility management (as required); or coordination of specific educational or outreach programsParticipate in research, professional organizations, and related committees; and in continuing education opportunities 12.
