Description:

SECP, the apex regulator of capital markets and corporate sector of Pakistan requires the services of qualified, result oriented, energetic and enthusiastic professional having impeccable integrity and exceptional analytical skills for the following Islamabad-based contractual position in its Mergers & Restructuring Department on open merit:

Director - Mergers & Restructuring Department (Position: 01)

Qualification
• Masters/ Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Accounting/Finance or Law from HEC recognized reputable University / Institute or Qualified CA/CMA/ ACCA

Post Qualification Experience
• At least 15 years of post-qualification experience in related field. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of managing financial/legal transactions of Merger/ Restructuring is preferable.
• Note: In case of qualified Chartered Accountant, CA Articleship will be considered as part of requisite experience for the abovementioned position

Age
• Maximum age should not exceed 50 years on the last date of submission of application.

Nature of Employment
Contract (03 years) extendable on need and performance basis. The Commission may consider to regularize the position (after three years) subject to meeting the criteria prescribed for this purpose.

• Female candidates who fulfill the above specified criteria shall be given preference.
• SECP offers a competitive compensation package.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• The appointment will be subject to qualifying the multi-tier interview process, clearance of
medical tests, and psychological assessment.
• Minorities and candidates from Balochistan, Ex-FATA districts, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu
and Kashmir (AJK) are encouraged to apply.

Qualification:
