Job Purpose

This role drives KE’s visual content strategy across digital platforms by integrating design thinking, innovation, and cutting-edge animations into everyday content. The incumbent leads KE’s in-house creative function, enabling high-impact visual storytelling without agency dependency. This position is critical for developing original content, supporting campaigns, enhancing brand presence, and producing quick-turnaround visuals including for crisis, on-ground events, and digital-first initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Visual Content Strategy & Execution
• Scale and evolve KE’s design direction across platforms using current trends, animation, and motion graphics.
• Inculcate design thinking in campaign planning and content ideation.
• Ensure brand consistency across visual outputs for social, internal comms, PR and media.
Content Creation & Editing
• Plan, shoot, and edit vertical/mobile-first content using online tools.
• Support on-ground activations and events with real-time content development.
• Deliver timely static and animated content for campaigns, digital media, and crisis communication.
YouTube & Instagram Strategy
• Lead content planning for KE’s YouTube (e.g., “How to” videos) and Instagram (e.g., visuals of Karachi, IGTV, reels).
• Produce 6+ YouTube videos annually and 15+ Instagram-first creative assets to boost organic engagement.
DVC Ideation & Oversight
• Lead creative ideation and storyboarding for Digital Video Campaigns (DVCs).
• Manage execution in partnership with digital production houses/agencies.
Internal Stakeholder Support
• Collaborate with Media, Internal Communications, and Brand teams for visual content requirements.
• Ensure timely and impactful delivery aligned with campaign goals.
Innovation & Tools
• Stay updated on AI-driven design tools (e.g., Midjourney), UI/UX platforms (e.g., Figma), and new animation techniques.
• Introduce new tools and formats to improve visual efficiency and creative output.
Team Growth & Training
• Mentor junior creative team members and prepare them for expanded roles.
• Develop internal capacity to transition from execution to strategic agency/creative oversight.
Compliance & Safety
• Adhere to KE’s HSEQ policies and ensure alignment in all creative execution.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Design, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a creative agency or in-house digital team.
• Proficiency in design tools for both static and motion graphics is essential.
• Strong understanding of digital trends, platform-specific design, and content innovation.
