Job Responsibilities
• To plan, implement, review and manage Finance Directorate in terms of financial and operational aspects as set by management.
• To develop and implement internal monitoring & Evaluation Mechanism for Finance Directorate.
• To oversee financial matters relating to programs & non-program payments as per the rules & approved policies and ensure effective internal financial controls.
• To propose and prepare budget estimates (sanction for new expenditures), forecast, tracking of financial targets and variances to highlight any un-usual feature(s) revealed by the quarterly
• Variance reports and other required analytical data.
• To propose investments to the management after analyzing the funds status to align the efficient financial management of the funds.
• To liaise with External Auditor/ DG Audit for statutory annual financial audit of the Foundation and attending DAC and SDAC meetings.
• To make correspondence with Education Department, Finance Department & DG Commercial Audit relating to financial & audit matters.
• To ensure compliance of procurement policy & PPRA rules as a member of Purchase Committee.
• To prepare Finance Committee agendas, Financial reviews & Minutes of the meeting.
• To assess the performance of all team members as per policy.
• To identify training needs for team members on periodic basis and also through performance appraisal.
• Any other duty / assignment assigned by the supervisor

Qualification:

• Masters/Bachelors (Hons) in Accounting, Business Administration, Chartered Accountancy, Finance, Accountancy
• 20 years minimum experience
