The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:

IT Application Support Officer (OG - II / OG - l)
• Reporting to: Divisional Head — IT Operations

Other Skills / Expertise /Knowledge Required
• Good working knowledge related to 1st level of support to end-users and addressing issues of End of Day (EOD) / batch processes / file ingestion etc.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of the issue
• Ability to work closely within a team
• Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken communication skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
• To execute daily operational / technical tasks of IT applications including in-house developed applications and interfaces
• To liaise with relevant stakeholders for integration of IT operations policies & procedures within the Bank
• To provide smooth operational and technical support of IT-applications / interfaces / tools etc.
• To liaise with vendor for applications related operational / technical issues
• To maintain issues-log sheets / MIS for sharing it with IT management
• To provide guidance and trainings to IT-Application business end-users
• To coordinate with all stakeholders in pre & post processes of new application(s) implementations
• To make recommendations towards the enhancements of operational processes and support
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Place of Posting: Karachi, Lahore

Employment Type: The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
• Candidates having a Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent and / or relevant certification will be preferred


Experience
• Minimum 03 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which at least 01 year in supporting IT applications / solutions
• Candidates having applications software support experience in banking / financial / non-financial and / or large-scale enterprise(s) will be preferred

Employment Type:

• This job offered by National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is a Contractual position. Most of the jobs on contractual positions are renewed depending the need and performance of the employee.
