In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following positions in the area Of Risk Management based at Karachi.

• Reporting to Divisional Head — Collection & Recovery

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
• To minimize the Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) by maintain delinquency and credit losses as per the assigned targets
• To manage the write-off portfolio in order to ensure maximum recovery
• To ensure leadership and manage teams for maximum efficiency and results
• To ensure that all reference material (collections manuals, credit policies, SBP regulations and code of conduct & ethics) are readily available to staff and collectors
• To exercise adequate control over collection effort / team in terms of prudential regulations, accounts resolution & coverages
• To analyze collection performance and propose improvement in strategy and operations
• To improve retail collection strategies, propose and organize collection strategy pilots, initiate champion-challenger pilots in Retail Collections, propose pilots, align with collection centers, organize implementation, and review the result
• To review efficiency of collection systems and propose improvements to increase automation level, increase productivity and transparency of collection operations
• To carry out audit of collection operations, provide feedback to Divisional Head Collection and Recovery and highlight issues in execution Of collection strategies
• To review third party performance - external agency recovery, auctions, skip tracing agencies etc.
• To build collection strategy team with strong expertise, motivation and on time deliveries
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Assessment Interview(s)
• Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s)

Employment Type
• The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules

Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
• Candidate having masters degree and / or any other relevant certification(s) will be preferred

Experience
• Minimum 08 years of banking experience, out of which 03 years in the area of collection & recovery, collection strategy & collection operations
• Candidate having experience of working in large scale / public sector organization(s) will be preferred

Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required
• Good knowledge of banking products
• Ability to effectively handle large collection teams and delinquent customers
• Sound knowledge of repossession of assets and associated legal processes
• Sound knowledge of collection systems, capacity planning, incentives plans and forecasting
• Excellent time and people management skills
• Ability to read and understand MIS
