Description:

The Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance of the organization's equipment and facilities. This includes preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, asset management, and record management. The Officer Maintenance also manages all the maintenance records and ensures that it is being maintained properly.

- Review and implement maintenance schedules.
- Inspect equipment and facilities to identify potential problems.
- Order and track maintenance supplies.
- Coordinate with procurement, contractors and vendors.
- Prepare daily and monthly utility reports.
- Maintain records of purchase requisitions raised by the department and also keep the track of the item from its DR, PR and Workorders.
- Develop and implement the calibration planner.
- Coordinate with the supply chain for procurement processes and with vendors for their queries.
- Collaborate with the store or warehouse department to fulfill departmental requirements.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure employees' understanding and proficiency.
- Share necessary documents for purchase procedures, including condemnation forms.
- Extraction and sharing of data from data loggers every month.
- Maintain records of gate passes.
- Preparation of weekly inspection reports.
- Departmental record keeping.
- Train and supervise maintenance staff.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Manage the maintenance budget and ensure that it is used effectively.
- Create and maintain data management systems for tracking equipment, maintenance schedules, and budget spending, and supplies.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that can be used to improve maintenance practices.
- Report on maintenance activities to management.
- Any other tasks as assigned.

The data management tasks that the Engineer Maintenance performs are essential for tracking the effectiveness of maintenance practices and identifying areas where improvements can be made. By analyzing data and generating reports, the Officer Maintenance can help to ensure that the organization is getting the most out of its maintenance budget and that its equipment is being properly maintained.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 3 - 4 years of relevant experience
