Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. Your primary focus will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and project managers, to deliver high-quality, user-friendly websites that not only meet our needs but also exceed their expectations as per W3 standards.

Responsibilities:
• Website Development: Your key responsibility will be to build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications. You must ensure that the websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for seamless performance across various devices and browsers.
• Theme Customization: You will be involved in modifying existing WordPress themes and developing custom themes from scratch to perfectly align with the unique design requirements of each client's project.
• Plugin Integration: In this role, you will conduct research to identify and select appropriate WordPress plugins. Your expertise will be utilized to integrate these plugins, enhancing website functionality, improving user experience, and extending the overall capabilities of the site.
• Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for promptly identifying and resolving issues related to WordPress websites. Your skills in debugging and fixing technical problems will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth website operations.
• Security and Performance Optimization: Implementing robust security measures to safeguard websites from potential threats and ensuring optimal site performance and quick loading times will be among your key responsibilities.
• Responsive Design: You will ensure that all websites developed are fully responsive, adapting seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices, to provide an optimal user experience.
• Content Management: Assisting in content population and ensuring that all content is accurately uploaded and presented on the website will be a part of your routine tasks.
• Collaboration: As part of our collaborative team, you will work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers. Your technical insights will contribute to a deeper understanding of project requirements and facilitate seamless project execution.
• Testing: You will conduct thorough testing of websites and applications to ensure their proper functionality, usability, and compatibility across various environments.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of the development process, code, and project updates will be essential for clear communication and future reference.
• Staying Updated: Keeping yourself abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in WordPress development and web technologies will be encouraged and supported.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing past WordPress/Website projects.
• Proficiency in front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Extensive knowledge of PHP and MySQL, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Experience in building custom WordPress themes and working with popular page builders and theme frameworks.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and experience in creating mobile-friendly websites.
• Understanding of web standards, SEO best practices, and website optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.

Qualification:

• BSCS/BS-IT or equivalent.

Experience:
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience is required
