The role of Area Manager is to manage the billing team in respective areas, develop and implement billing plans, monitor and analyze KPIs, recruit, train and mentor team members, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and compliance with billing policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Fresh ACMA Or MBA with 4 years of experience in Accounts or Finance. Candidates having experience of Utility companies shall be preferred.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the Billing team in the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section, in East, West and Central areas fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Develop and implement billing plans to meet revenue targets, enhance efficiency, and adapt to the unique requirements of the industrial and commercial sectors in Karachi.
• Monitor and analyze key billing performance indicators, proactively implementing corrective actions to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and operational targets.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members at junior level, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce aligned with organizational goals. The team members include Territory Managers and other field staff for East, West and Central areas.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, and build strong relationships to ensure successful billing operations.
• Responsible for meticulous management of the budget within the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section, optimizing resources to achieve cost-effective billing operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to company billing policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements within the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
