In France, more than 130 consultants support our clients directly within their Accounting, Management Control, Consolidation, or Project Management Departments. You will have the opportunity to join the consultants of the Operational Reinforcement team dedicated to Banking and Insurance issues, composed of 25 consultants from both firm and company backgrounds. Their main mission is to support our clients in this sector in their operational challenges: current (accounting, financial, regulatory production, financial steering and budgetary process, documentation of accounting schemes and processes, etc.) or related to their projects (regulatory, tool changes, reorganization, remediation, etc.). Within this team, we particularly wish to strengthen our expertise in Assurance activities to provide our clients with: expertise in accounting (technical, investments, etc.), business management control, regulatory insurance production (S2 reporting, etc.), and innovative continuous improvement avenues around automation and artificial intelligence.
You will intervene on stimulating missions, you will apprehend different activities and client typologies, you will be exposed to diverse and motivating issues. You will work in close collaboration with different stakeholders and will be able, beyond functional needs, to propose process improvement avenues. In this context, you will have the opportunity to: assist and develop operational expertise, to ensure the link between our clients' strategic decisions and implementation; bring your expertise in insurance accounting within the framework of account production or structuring projects; prepare or secure the quality of regulatory reporting for the ACPR (Solvency 2 and IFRS 17); bring your knowledge of the financial aspect and your practical experience in engaging projects; benefit from the digital impetus instilled within our teams; supervise more junior collaborators, in some cases. We are committed to multidisciplinarity and the pooling of PwC network skills to help us best address the subjects entrusted to us. Some examples of emblematic missions include: support for the proper implementation of accounting or regulatory regulations (IFRS 9, IFRS 17, Solvency 2); taking charge of streams in transformation projects (multi-Gaap data model, incoming and outgoing flows, specifications with operational staff, etc.); securing accounting or regulatory closings in challenging contexts; support to a financial direction post-acquisition of a foreign group, project support for convergence of practices, management control support, and accounting support; migration of asset portfolios within the framework of a tool change project.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- You hold a Master's degree (CCA, DSCG, Finance, or Business School).
- You have experience in insurance accounting (technical, investments, etc.) gained in a firm or with an insurer or reinsurer.
- You have participated in the standardization of procedures, accounting schemes, chart of accounts, etc.
- You master French and/or IFRS accounting standards.
- You have contributed to the production of Solvency II Pillar 3.
- You are comfortable with tools and curious about new developing technologies.
- Your interpersonal and linguistic skills allow you to communicate easily, both orally and in writing, in French and English.
- You demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and initiative, particularly in the use of digital tools and AI.
