As part of our Financial Services Consulting (FSC) practice, we are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Data Analytics Director to help lead our Data and AI Transformation initiatives. You will help our clients in the FS sector harness the power of data and AI to transform their operations, drive innovation, and create sustainable value.
In alignment with PwC’s strategic vision, this role centers on two core responsibilities: leading the development and implementation of (Gen)AI and analytics solutions for our clients and supporting them in building a robust data foundation to scale AI effectively. This includes designing fit-for-purpose data architectures, managing data flows, assessing and improving data quality, implementing strong data governance frameworks, and developing the capabilities necessary to embed AI across the organization. Close collaboration with our near- and offshore service delivery centers in CEE and Egypt will be an essential part of your role. As a Data Analytics Director specializing in Data & AI Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in growing our consulting practice and delivering measurable impact. Your responsibilities include:
Sales & Business Development:

• Initiate and drive commercial growth by acquiring new projects and developing c-level relationships in the FS sector (Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance and Pensions);
• Lead the full sales cycle—from lead generation and initial contact to contract negotiation and closing—collaborating with multidisciplinary teams;
• Position PwC as a thought leader in data & AI driven transformation.

Client Project Delivery:

• As a Data Analytics Director, you will support clients in the Financial Services sector on their Data & AI transformation journeys. You will be the driving force behind the successful execution of large-scale, human-centric, technology-enabled Data & AI transformation programs;
• You will design and implement data strategies at our clients that enable adoption of AI at scale in our client's value chains—ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements;
• You will lead international multidisciplinary teams—including PwC consultants, client teams, and external vendors—steering complex programs and ensuring clients maximize the value of their Data & AI investments;
• You will act as a strategic sparring partner for C-level stakeholders, translating their ambitions into concrete, scalable solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for executive leadership and (data and technology) directors;
• You will oversee full program leadership, including governance, planning, budgeting, and scope management, ensuring adherence to quality standards, compliance, and risk control.

Leadership:

• As part of the Data Analytics leadership team, you will help lead, inspire and grow a young, high-performing team within our Data Analytics practice, working closely with the responsible competence and platform team leads;
• You will share responsibility for coaching and developing consultants within the team. You foster growth and development, and help create a culture of trust, collaboration, and ownership that supports both personal and professional growth;
• You will contribute to shaping the learning & development curriculum and support in managing team utilization and capacity planning.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

You are a strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and a passion for data and AI with the ambition to continue your personal development beyond the role of Director. You recognize opportunities where others see risks and are eager to build long-term client value. You bring:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics);
• At least 10 years of experience in the FS sector, with a strong track record in data and AI transformation;
• Solid understanding of data platforms, AI technologies, and regulatory frameworks in FS;
• A strong network in the FS industry and the ability to bring in new business;
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on measurable impact (e.g., revenue growth, customer satisfaction);
• Adaptability to work and collaborate across sectors, client types, and internal teams;
• Strong leadership skills with at least 10 years of experience managing large, diverse teams;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders;
• Fluency in English and preferably in Dutch.
