About the Role  
The Senior Associate in Transactions supports the delivery of complex deal engagements across the transaction lifecycle, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, valuations, and strategic advisory assignments. The role involves analyzing financial and operational information, supporting due diligence processes, and contributing to high-quality client deliverables. 
The Senior Associate is expected to apply strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills to support clients in making informed investment and strategic decisions. The role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams, contributing to engagement execution while maintaining PwC’s quality and risk standards.

Senior Associate – Deals (Transactions) 
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Support transaction engagements including buy-side and sell-side deals, due diligence, valuations, and restructuring assignments. 
  

• Analyse financial statements, operational data, and market information to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities. 
  

• Assist in preparing outputs such as financial analyses, due diligence reports, valuation summaries, and client presentations. 
  

• Support the development of business plans, forecasts, and other transaction-related analyses. 
  

• Perform financial analysis including trend analysis, profitability assessments, and cash flow analysis. 
  

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial models and related analytical tools. 
  

• Support the evaluation of assumptions underpinning business plans and forecasts. 
  

• Support the coordination and management of transaction workstreams to meet deadlines. 
  

• Liaise with client stakeholders to gather required data and clarify queries. 
  

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver integrated client solutions. 
  

• Apply PwC’s risk management and quality assurance frameworks across all deliverables. 
  

• Maintain clear documentation of analyses, assumptions, and conclusions to support review processes. 
  

• Build effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. 
  

• Communicate clearly and professionally in both written deliverables and verbal interactions. 
  

• Support and coach junior team members, contributing to team development. 
  

• Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team. 
  

 
Qualification and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. 
  

• Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA, ACA or equivalent) – completed or in progress will be an added advantage. 
  

• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles. 
  

• 3–5 years of experience in transaction services, corporate finance, private equity, consulting, investment banking, or a related field. 
  

• Exposure to transaction environments, including due diligence, valuations, or deal execution.  
  

• Understanding of key transaction processes and the deal lifecycle. 
  

• Familiarity with financial analysis, reporting standards, and business performance metrics. 
  

• Experience working in team-based environments, ideally across multiple disciplines or geographies. 
  

Skills and competencies    
 

• Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into commercial insights. 
  

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs. 
  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  

• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership over deliverables. 
  

• Experienced presenter with strong facilitation skills and mastery of accounting topics.
