A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.
As part of our Learning and Development Design and Curriculum team, you’ll help lead the design process for all PwC traditional classroom and technology enabled learning solutions. You’ll be working with subject matter specialists, programme directors/managers and project teams to strategise effective ways to educate and train our people on industry related materials. Support the team to execute the Assurance Learning & Development agenda.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience working in the field of Learning & Development, Consulting, Psychology, or Accounting.
- Education: No specific degree or field of study is required. Certifications are not specified.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent project management & problem-solving skills.
- Able to balance multiple tasks and stakeholders while delivering high quality work within deadlines given.
- Good attention to details.
- Understanding of adult learning theory; learning needs and performance gap analysis; instructional design, development and implementation; and assessment/evaluation of learning.
- Ability to support senior team members in collaborating with business leaders to identify skills gaps and learning needs to support business goals.
- Capability to help implement L&D initiatives, evaluate and recommend learning solutions/enhancements.
- A good understanding about the ‘Future of Learning’ needs, able to design programmes using innovative ways including action learning, self-directed learning, digital learning, blended learning etc.
- Aptitude to support senior team members in working with internal and external providers to design and deliver bespoke learning solutions aligned to business needs.
- Competence to deliver and facilitate learning solutions (with support from senior team members, where needed).
- Proficiency to help assess the effectiveness and impact of the learning solution by leveraging technology where appropriate and use learning analytics to draw insight and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in end-to-end management of learning solutions with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage regulatory requirements and reporting to ensure full compliance.
- Skill to provide suggestions and execute process enhancement to drive efficiencies.
