Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Part-Time d|bar Host who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do! What you will do: Greet guests promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact and a smile. Utilizing Open Table, the individual takes reservations, reviews the daily reservation book and has the ability to seat guests with/without reservations. have a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for that day. A principle role within the restaurant and bar, the Host is familiar with server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity. Being familiar with frequent guests and knows their names and preferences. What you will bring: excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is also required. Additional language a definite asset for career growth Able to stand for the majority of the shift The ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential Smart Serve certification is a must At minimum 1 year previous Host experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation Completion or currently enrolled in a Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field.
