Job Description:
- Supervise, motivate, and train food services staff, delegate tasks, monitor performance, roster management, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment to ensure consistent service delivery followed by the IHHN policies and procedures.
- Ensuring staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively
- Ensure patients receive meals that meet their specific dietary requirements and medical needs, in collaboration with nutritional guidelines.
- Responsible to accomplish set goals & objectives and continuous improvements in food services as directed by the management.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to guarantee high food quality, and adherence to all food safety and health regulations and standards within the healthcare facility.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures for patient meals, cafeteria, catering, store supplies, safe food production & kitchen operational safety practices and recommend improvements to upgrade the services for smooth and quality operation in food services.
- To facilitate food safety & hygiene regulatory compliance audit, internal audits and to comply with the audit observations if any.
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and assist with budget management to ensure financial targets are met and to optimize resource utilization.
- Support menu planning, caterings, ensuring dietary requirements and nutritional standards are met, and maintaining high-quality food and service.
- Resolve patients, attendants and staff complaints, troubleshoot operational issues, and facilitate seamless communication across teams.
- Act as a liaison with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and medical staff to coordinate services and resolve issues.
- Support security protocols, ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and secure and maintain service excellence standards.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or by the management that commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
