This Marketing and Communications Manager role is a key opportunity within a leading professional services firm in New Zealand.

As Marketing & Communications Manager – PwC Private, you’ll lead the development and delivery of the external communications and marketing programme for this important area of our business. Working alongside the Marketing Director, you’ll help shape the strategic marketing plan and partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand, refine and clearly communicate PwC Private’s proposition to key audiences. You’ll lead a coordinated, integrated communications programme across multiple channels, ensuring activity is aligned, impactful, and supports our business objectives. This role requires a strong focus on corporate communications strategy and digital marketing campaigns.

Your day-to-day could include: Developing and delivering the strategic marketing communications plan for PwC Private. Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into clear, compelling marketing activity. Leading integrated communications across multiple channels to engage key audiences. Creating and coordinating content, including thought leadership, media releases, research reports, digital content and campaign collateral. Monitoring activity, sharing insights and using results to refine future marketing communications.

As Marketing & Communications Manager – PwC Private, you’ll lead the development and delivery of the external communications and marketing programme for this important area of our business. Working alongside the Marketing Director, you’ll help shape the strategic marketing plan and partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand, refine and clearly communicate PwC Private’s proposition to key audiences.

You’ll lead a coordinated, integrated communications programme across multiple channels, ensuring activity is aligned, impactful, and supports our business objectives.

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into clear, compelling marketing activity.

Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe, ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga / Skills you will bring or develop in this role

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years' experience in marketing and/or communications, ideally within a professional services or agency environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create compelling content across a range of channels and audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels, including senior leaders and executives.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud would be highly regarded.
