Depending on your interests and ambitions, you can engage in the following activities:
- Modeling, valuing, and validating (risk) capital models;
- Preparing and advising on ORSA, SFCR, VCP, and Capital generation models (OCG);
- Supporting merger and acquisition processes;
- Modeling, valuing, validating, and auditing financial risks, actuarial models, and market risk models;
- Supporting, preparing, advising on, and assessing financial, climate-related, and economic scenario models;
- Providing insight into reinsurance solutions and effects of possible capital market instruments;
- Further developing the impact of climate risk (and ESG in general) on our clients' risk profile and translating this into risk modeling;
- Advising clients on new techniques and developments in balance sheet management.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Here's what we're looking for: You are someone who loves challenges and is curious about the possibilities to advise our clients as best as possible. You have your own vision and opinion and are willing to speak up within a team of clients and colleagues. You therefore want to gain experience in various specialist fields to find out what suits you best. You want to grow, build relationships and get the best out of yourself and your colleagues.
- You have a completed academic degree in Econometrics, Financial Risk Management, Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics or a comparable technical study;
- You are able to come up with creative and innovative solutions where necessary;
- You enjoy developing new propositions in a team;
- You know how to inspire and retain clients with your advisory skills;
- You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience at insurers, investment institutions, banks and/or consultancy in balance sheet management, financial risks, capital management and financial planning models;
- You have experience with preparing legislative and management reports such as ORSA, VCP and/or SFCR and have experience with relevant legislation and regulatory guidelines;
- You are available for at least 32 hours;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
