Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We hire you at entry level and you advance by demonstrating growing levels of operating, maintenance, and leadership skills. Although you will begin your career and progress within Logistics department, future business needs will determine whether you remain in Logistics or have the opportunity to transfer to another operating department within the site, where you will gain additional training and skills. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. We offer you: Ownership of your work from your first day Maintain world-renowned production technologies in some interesting ways The chance to influence the production and quality of our products Mentorship, coaching, training, and guidance Operating essential material handling equipment at the site e.g., clamp truck, forklift, reach truck, hand trucks, etc Known for providing a safe work environment We have no doubt these skills will help you on the job: Able to display skills in powered industrial truck operation in a production environment Able to display skills in operating, maintaining and cleaning automated equipment Maintaining accurate records and data Display strong technical, interpersonal and analytical skills Job Qualifications You must be 18 years of age or older Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education Willing to work rotating shifts Able to pass a DOT physical / Motor vehicle operator evaluation Interest in operating / working around material handling equipment (Note - previous experience operating powered industrial forklifts and reach trucks is preferred, but not required) We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements: Able to sit/stand on material handling equipment continuously for extended periods of time Can climb in and out of forklift frequently Able to rotate upper body and look over the shoulder frequently Can reach above shoulder height Must have no neck/upper back conditions that would prevent upper body rotation Can display sense of orientation and coordination while driving backwards Able to work in tight/congested area and able to enter confined spaces Able to climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms Able to Bend/Squat, turn, and twist frequently Can use basic hand and power tools Able to lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; Lift and carry up to 40 pounds Be able to walk varying distances to travel between multiple warehouses located throughout the facility Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, safety shoes, high visibility vest, hat with visor, gloves) Able to work with loud noise (>85db) while wearing ear protection Average Starting Pay: $68,000 Other benefits include: 120 paid hours of vacation (prorated based off start date in calendar year) Holiday Schedule | 12 Company Holidays 5% profit sharing program Health insurance starting Day 1 Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
