Community Health Worker - Karachi Based

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Qualification:

  Matriculation or Intermediate. Residency within the community and local language fluency.

• Experience:

  02 years of related expereince

Job Description:

1. Conduct X-ray examinations as per physician instructions.
2. Liaise with the site supervisor and on-site field team to ensure a smooth workflow and maximize patient care throughout the process.
3. Ensure proper handling and use of x-ray and other related equipment’s, and related software.
4. Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of the equipment's technical capabilities and limitations.
6. Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, local regulations, and best practices in radiologic safety.
8. Conduct daily checks of fixed X-ray equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
9. Report equipment malfunctions promptly and collaborate with the biomedical engineering team for repairs.
10. Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, including patient information, images taken, and radiation exposure details.
11. Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and comfort during imaging procedures
