Role Overview:

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (SKMCH&RC), Peshawar, is seeking to appoint a dedicated Consultant Physician in Emergency Medicine. The position holder will provide consultant cover in the Emergency Assessment Room, collaborating closely with the Departments of Internal Medicine as well as with the other relevant specialties . The Emergency Department at SKMCH&RC sees a high volume of unselected patients for acute medical care, predominantly related to cancer and cancer therapy. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality medical care, within a multidisciplinary setting, participating in an on-call rota with other Internal Medicine consultants, and maintaining excellence in all aspects of medical care. Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• Full and unencumbered registration with the PMDC.
• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, such as the FCPS in Medicine and Emergency Medicine, MRCP (UK), American Board in Internal Medicine, CCT Emergency Medicine, or equivalent, with appropriate sub-speciality training and certification.
• Experience in teaching across various treatment settings.
