The Indirect Tax ESG (Excise & Energy & Environment) team at PwC consists of over 20 experts specializing in excise tax, energy regulations, and environmental regulations. Our clients receive support with various needs, such as the tax-legal setup for energy production from photovoltaic panels, reducing energy consumption costs, leveraging support programs (e.g., compensation for the energy-intensive sector or industrial consumer status), and implementing new environmental obligations arising from the latest European regulations, including CBAM (carbon tax), EUDR (regulations concerning trade in deforestation-contributing goods), and supply chain due diligence. We are currently seeking a Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to these critical areas.
Your future role will encompass:
- Implementation and supervision of consulting projects within excise tax, energy, and environmental regulatory frameworks.
- Developing strong relationships with business clients and actively contributing to the expansion of our service portfolio.
- Collaborating with PwC teams both in Poland and internationally, participating in global initiatives, and building a robust international network of contacts.
- Coordinating team activities, providing mentorship, and fostering the professional growth of junior colleagues.
- Working closely with team management to continuously deepen your own expertise and specialized knowledge.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in consulting within the fields of excise tax, energy regulations, or environmental regulations.
- Very good command of both Polish and English languages (minimum B2 level) to ensure fluent collaboration with business clients.
- Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and direct client cooperation.
- Demonstrated qualities of responsibility, client orientation, commitment, strong communication skills, and analytical abilities.
- An affinity for challenges, thriving in dynamic environments, and adapting to a fast pace of work.
- Knowledge and practical application of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily tasks (e.g., for task automation, information analysis, and content preparation).
Preferred:- Possession of tax advisor or legal counsel qualifications.
