Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Batterjee Medical College is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to support campus operations. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and distribution systems
- Diagnose electrical faults and replace defective components
- Inspect electrical panels, breakers, and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Support generator operations, ATS panels, and backup systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Maintain maintenance logs and prepare reports for completed work
- Support electrical requirements for campus events and projects
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Technology or related field
- 3–5 years of experience as an electrical technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
