About the location: Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen is ideally located in the heart of the commercial district of Futian, across the Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Center and a short walk from the Civic Center which houses the cityâs Municipal Hall and Museum as well as near the famed Shenzhen Concert Hall and Library. The Hotel is surrounded by 3 modern shopping malls and is a few steps away from the subway metro station and 10-minute drive to 2 Hong Kong borders of Huanggang and Futian. Built along contemporary lines, the Hotel features 266 rooms inclusive of 32 suites, a Club Lounge, Business Centre, 4 food and beverage outlets, and a grand ballroom with 5 other function venues plus a unique outdoor multilevel Terraces. About the role The Manager in Training (MIT) Program equips participants with the skills, exposure, and confidence needed to build a successful long-term career in luxury hospitality. Beyond hands-on operational training, MITs gain meaningful leadership exposure through cross-functional learning, real business projects, and involvement in decision-making processes. Each MIT is supported by a dedicated mentor and buddy, providing guidance, career coaching, and day-to-day support. Structured feedback and performance conversations throughout the program ensure continuous growth and clear development milestones. This program is ideal for driven individuals who are curious, adaptable, and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. By the end of the journey, successful MITs are well-positioned to step into supervisory or entry-level management roles within Four Seasons, equipped with both operational expertise and leadership capability. What you will do You will be exposed to different outlets through quick department-wide rotations. Start in-depth departmental learning by mastering key line position(s), then move into a Supervisor or acting Assistant Manager role to practice management skills. To solidify your learning, you will take charge of your management experience and project work with the tools (e.g. Training Syllabus, Manuals and Experience Maps etc.) provided. What you bring Preferably with a degree in Hospitality Management or its equivalent Potential to lead and motivate others Curiosity and interest in the luxury market Go-getter, assertive, creates own opportunities Good skills of the English and Cantonese or Mandarin languages. Preferably foreign language ability. Schedule & Hours: ⢠Forty hours over a five day period; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
