Job Description:
- Branding, Visibility, and Content
- Ideate, conceptualize, and design engaging communications collateral products for enhancing the profile of CHD, including presentations, posters, photo spreads, infographics, etc.
- Coordinate with Programs and field teams to produces IEC and visibility materials for CHD.
- Write, edit, and proofread content for various content, including social media posts, blogs, success stories, case studies, etc., ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with CHD's mission and values.
- Provide support to the Communications team for designing and developing monthly and quarterly program updates in the form of newsletter or e-newsletter for internal and external stakeholders
- Support Programs in developing and implementing awareness campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with the branding guidelines of CHD and donors in all internal and external communications.
- Understand and implement IHHN’s communications guidelines and protocols.
- Documentation
- Provide data/reports in a timely manner for quarterly progress updates.
- Maintain close liaison with staff to ensure communication messages are effectively disseminated and assist them in presenting data for progress updates in a clear and organized manner.
- Monitor and oversee communication-related activities, ensuring proper documentation and supporting visibility initiatives. Develop content for communication materials, including templates, documents, and presentations.
- Capacity building
- Provide training and feedback to field staff on documentation (case studies, success stories, etc.), IEC and visibility materials they produce and share.
- Provide support to the field teams, and guides them on the correct use of branding guidelines.
- Other duties
- Oversee CHD's social media presence, developing strategies to increase follower engagement, and monitoring the effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Maintain an inventory of all project communication materials and assets, including photographs, reports, case studies, success stories, capacity statements, etc.
- Take quality photographs and develops photo stories.
- Coordinate with vendors, such as printers, to ensure quality products.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, pitching stories, and coordinating media coverage for CHD programs and events.
