Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator (Nursing) to support the professional development and clinical competency of nursing staff within a reputable healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. The Clinical Educator will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs that enhance clinical knowledge, promote patient safety, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement clinical education and training programs for nursing staff.
- Conduct orientation programs for newly hired nurses and support their transition into clinical practice.
- Facilitate competency-based training, workshops, and simulation sessions to enhance clinical skills.
- Assess and evaluate clinical competencies of nursing staff to ensure adherence to professional standards and hospital protocols.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nurses, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and development plans.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based practices and updated clinical guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and accreditation preparation activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, competency records, and staff development plans.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the nursing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or related field is preferred).
- Valid DOH license or DOH eligibility as a Registered Nurse in Abu Dhabi.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1–2 years in education, training, or mentorship roles.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical standards, patient safety practices, and competency-based education.
- Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS may be required depending on the department).
- Ability to work in a multicultural healthcare environment.
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.
- Willing to work in Abu Dhabi/ Al Ain.
