This position's mission is to ensure the integration and validation of software packages, including business applications and vulnerability patches. Key responsibilities include qualifying package requests, verifying functional requirements, and creating/updating installation and uninstallation scripts using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit. The role involves leveraging various packaging tools like InstallShield, Repackager, and Microsoft App-V to create MSI, setup.exe, or MSP update packages, along with custom actions. A critical aspect is identifying, analyzing dependencies, and managing conflicts to ensure seamless deployment. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient IT operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of enterprise applications. You will also be involved in technology watch and proposing improvements to optimize software packaging processes, offering expert advice and impact analysis on new developments.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Very good knowledge of Windows 10 & 11 environments, the registry, and Windows operating system configuration tools.
- Real mastery of PowerShell.
- Good knowledge of Universal Apps, Modern Apps (Windows 10 & 11).
- Ability to analyze and modify scripts (PowerShell, vbs, wsh, bat…).
- Desired Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of MacOS environments.
- Good knowledge of PSADT (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit) and packaging tools (InstallShield, Repackager, Microsoft App-V).
- Good knowledge of SQL Express.
- Good skills in remote deployment tools (Microsoft Intune or MECM, Workspace One...).
- Knowledge of OS virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V environments).
- Behavioral Skills:
- Autonomy in writing documentation associated with RUN deliverables.
- Methodical and organized.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
